Students will be responsible for their own supplies and materials.  Wyatt will be doing demonstrations with oil paint, but feel free to bring whatever medium you’re most comfortable using.  Acrylic paint, watercolor, and pastel are acceptable media for the workshop.  Along with your paint, make sure to bring your brushes, canvas, paper towel, an easel if you have one, and anything else you might need to create your artwork.

What will you learn?

Wyatt will be using still-life to teach the fundamentals of painting from observation.  After reviewing the basics of composition and color theory, Wyatt will demonstrate a method of painting that makes it easy to quickly and accurately capture the subject before you.  Learn tips and tricks that make painting even the most complicated subjects easier.  Through demonstration and personalized instruction, Wyatt will break down the complexities of painting for each student, ensuring that everyone leaves the workshop with a great painting and a better understanding of the artistic process.
